On a positive note, 4,44,65,901 individuals have recovered from the disease, resulting in a national recovery rate of 98.81 percent. The case fatality rate stands at 1.18 percent. In terms of vaccination, India has administered 220.67 crore doses of the COVID vaccine so far.
