Warangal Govt Multi-Super Specialty Hospital Nearing Completion

The construction of the 24-storey multi-super specialty hospital in Warangal is reaching its final stages, with work on the 19th floor progressing rapidly. Officials expect the remaining work to be completed within one to two months, making the hospital ready to open its doors to patients.

The hospital, which is part of the Health City project planned in 216 acres, is expected to provide state-of-the-art healthcare services to people in Warangal and the surrounding districts. With a total plinth area of 16.50 lakh sqft, the hospital will have a bed strength of 2,250 and 35 departments.

The 24-floor structure is being constructed on a 56-acre campus at a cost of Rs.1200 crore. The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, and Health Minister T Harish Rao are closely monitoring the progress of the works. In addition to the medical facilities, a 420-seating capacity lecture hall will also be set up on the 23rd floor.

Health Minister T Harish Rao inspected the ongoing construction in January this year and directed officials to speed up the works to ensure completion by Dasara. While the officials initially aimed to complete the construction by Dasara, they now expect the entire project to be finished by the end of this year.

The upcoming multi-specialty hospital is a significant development for the healthcare sector in Warangal and North Telangana. It will enhance access to advanced healthcare services and contribute to the overall improvement of the region’s healthcare infrastructure.

The completion of the hospital will not only benefit the people of Warangal but also attract patients from nearby districts who previously had to travel long distances for specialized medical treatments. The state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive healthcare services offered by the hospital will make it a preferred choice for patients across the region.

The progress of the hospital’s construction reflects the commitment of the government to improve the healthcare facilities in Telangana. The Chief Minister’s proactive involvement in monitoring the project demonstrates the government’s focus on timely completion and quality execution.

Once operational, the multi-super specialty hospital in Warangal will be a landmark institution, delivering advanced medical care and contributing to the overall development of the healthcare sector in the region. With its state-of-the-art infrastructure and comprehensive range of services, the hospital will undoubtedly become a healthcare hub for the people of Warangal and the neighboring areas.
