What’s Everyone’s Favorite Exercise Routine?

How Are You Moving Your Body These Days?

Staying active and moving our bodies is essential for both physical and mental health. It can boost our mood, increase energy levels, and improve overall well-being. With that in mind, I wanted to explore different exercise routines and motivations to inspire and encourage others to find their own ways to move their bodies. I partnered with Lululemon to gather insights from the Cup of Jo team about their exercise habits and favorite styles.

Jannelle Sanchez, Associate Editor, shared that she is currently loving BabyFit By Amy’s prenatal workouts. As a mom-to-be, she understands the importance of listening to her body and resting when needed. However, on days when she can handle exercise, she recognizes the gift of being able to move her body and how it benefits her physical and mental health in the long run.

Kaitlyn Teer, Contributing Editor, finds joy in running with her son in their jogging stroller and cycling alongside her four-year-old on their way to preschool. She feels energized and buoyant after breaking a sweat and recommends meeting up with friends outdoors as a great way to stay motivated year-round.

Jenny Rosenstrach, Food Columnist, has discovered the joy of everyday walking. She loves the comfort of the Wunder Train High-Rise Cropped Leggings and finds that walking everywhere since moving houses has become her go-to exercise. She feels just as great on the days that she walks as she does on the days that she runs.

Maureen Heffernan, Partnerships Director, has been embracing biking as her favorite form of exercise. She appreciates the beautiful weather in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys doing her errands on her bike. After a good workout, she feels calm and positive. Maureen recommends starting with a simple sweat session, emphasizing that it doesn’t have to be your best effort, just getting moving is enough.

It’s clear that everyone has different preferences when it comes to exercise, but the common theme among the Cup of Jo team is finding joy and gratitude in moving their bodies. Whether it’s through prenatal workouts, running with kids, everyday walking, or biking, each person has found their own way to stay active and motivated.

Lululemon has been a favorite brand among the Cup of Jo team, with styles like the Blissfeel 2 Women’s Running Shoes, Wunder Puff Vest, Wunder Train High-Rise Cropped Leggings, and Everywhere Belt Bag getting rave reviews. Comfort, functionality, and style are important factors when choosing exercise attire, and Lululemon seems to tick all the boxes for the team.

So, how are you moving your body these days? Are you trying out new exercises or sticking to old favorites? Do you have any tips for staying motivated? We’d love to hear about your experiences and insights. Share your thoughts in the comments below!
